The Fresno Jewish Film Series Committee is dedicated to using film for its contemporary and popular value to celebrate Jewish culture and to reflect the diversity and richness of the Jewish experience. Founded in 2002, the Fresno Jewish Film Series has grown in size and reputation and brings to audiences an assortment of dramas, comedies, documentaries and short length films depicting Jewish life from different times and places around the globe.

 

The committee seeks to use the power of film and video to both entertain and educate, while also challenging conventional perspectives on complex and challenging issues facing the Jewish people and world community alike. You will find variations of love and friendship, self exploration, family interaction dynamics and cultural diversity.
